Teens & families.
Adolescence is a lot — for teens living it and parents watching it. We give young people a space that’s truly theirs, while keeping parents meaningfully involved, so the whole family starts pulling in the same direction.

How the work unfolds.
- 01
Everyone’s story first
We meet parents and teen to hear every perspective. Then the teen gets a space that’s theirs — with clear, agreed rules about what stays private and what parents hear.
- 02
Skills for both sides
Teens build emotion skills and coping tools; parents get coaching on connection, limits and repair. Periodic family sessions put it all into practice together.
- 03
A calmer household
Fewer blowups, more talking. As the family system steadies, sessions space out — with booster sessions available around known stress points like exams.
Good to know.
Teens open up only when they trust the space is theirs — so session details stay private, with safety exceptions explained upfront. Parents receive regular updates on themes, progress and how to help at home, plus joint sessions as needed.
Very common — and often resolved in the first session. Our teen therapists are skilled at earning trust quickly, with zero lectures. If your teen truly won’t come, parent coaching alone can still shift the whole family dynamic.
Our specialty starts at age 13. For younger children, the most effective work is usually with parents — we offer parent coaching for families with kids under 13, and can refer you to excellent play therapists nearby.
